Founded in 1921 and now in its third generation of family leadership, The Barry Company has had a long and successful history of industrial, office, commercial, land and investment real estate brokerage in the metro-Milwaukee area, across Wisconsin and beyond.

The Barry Company has helped shape Wisconsin’s commercial real estate industry, pioneering what are now some of Wisconsin’s largest business parks, including the New Berlin and Menomonee Falls Business Parks, Bishop’s Woods Office Park and the City of Milwaukee Land Bank.

Year after year, The Barry Company has been involved in the Milwaukee area’s largest and most complex commercial real estate transactions, including the redevelopment of the massive Allis Chalmers facility in West Allis into a successful mixed-use property, the sale of the 857,000 square foot Briggs & Stratton industrial facility in Menomonee Falls to Harley Davidson, the sale of the 914,000 square foot West Bend Company property to a mixed-used developer and, most recently, the sale of the 1.1 million square foot downtown Milwaukee post office, which will become a landmark redevelopment project for the city.

The Barry Company has been the recipient of the Commercial Association of Realtors – Wisconsin (CARW) “Deal of the Year” award over a dozen times since the award was instituted in 1995. This award is given annually to brokerage firms that show the greatest amount of skill, dedication, and experience.

The firm has also been recognized for its brokerage skill with awards from the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, The Business Journal of Milwaukee, Riverworks Development Corporation and numerous other organizations.
