Rojahn & Malaney Downtown Property Offered for Sale

Prime Downtown development site to be marketed

The Barry Company has been engaged by Rojahn & Malaney Company as exclusive listing agent to market one of the most prominent and sought-after downtown Milwaukee development sites. Currently the home of Rojahn & Malaney Wholesale Florist, the approximate .56 acre site is located on the east side of the Milwaukee River at the corner of State and Edison Streets and sits directly north of the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. It is adjacent to a .44 acre site that is being offered for sale by the City of Milwaukee.

“This is one of the best – if not the best – development sites in Downtown Milwaukee,” said Kurt Van Dyke, Senior Vice President of The Barry Company, who is working on the marketing team, along with Jim Barry III. “This site has everything,” said Barry, “a central location, proximity to the Milwaukee River, unobstructed views in all four directions, access to the entertainment and restaurant districts and an existing Riverwalk section.”

The property will be marketed on a local, regional and national basis.

“Rojahn & Malaney is excited to explore the option of relocating our business. We have been serving the floral industry from downtown locations since 1929 and look forward to continuing this tradition. This is a fantastic opportunity for our generation to advance the family business and clear a path for continued downtown development,” said Anthony Rojahn, President of Rojahn & Malaney Company.
