The Barry Company wins Deal of the Year awards
Company receives wins in industrial and investment categories
The Barry Company won the “Industrial Deal of the Year” award and the “Investment Deal of the Year” award, which were presented at the 2016 Commercial Association of Realtors of Wisconsin (CARW) CRE Awards, October 19 at the Grain Exchange, Milwaukee. The event honored 2016’s most notable professionals and transactions in Southeast Wisconsin commercial real estate.
Jim Barry III, CCIM, Kevin Barry, CCIM and David Buckley won the Industrial Deal of the Year award for their involvement in bringing Indiana-based KemKrest to Wisconsin with its lease of 277,454 square feet of industrial space in Pleasant Prairie.
Kurt Van Dyke CCIM, SIOR, Jim Young and Jim Barry III, CCIM won the Investment Deal of the Year award for selling the 1.1 million square foot Downtown Milwaukee Post Office property to Chicago investor and developer R2 Companies.
Since 2010, The Barry Company has been the recipient of six “Deal of the Year” awards, with 14 awards since the inception of the Deal of the Year award by CARW. The company has also been runner-up on multiple occasions.
