Milwaukee, January 11, 2023 – The Barry Company, a leading southeast Wisconsin commercial real estate company, announced today the sale of A. Werner Silversmith, a 3,520 square foot building with adjacent surface parking lot located at 1241 N. Water Street, in downtown Milwaukee, WI. Steggeman Investments LLC is the new owner of this property.
The transaction was brokered by Nick Zurich of the Barry Company and Prestige Realty. Having been in operation at this location since 1956, this sale marks the official end of traditional retail businesses in the old Water Street nightlife district. The property is planned to become one of the newest taverns to compliment the ever-booming Deer District.
